Carolina Southern Co. began in 2015 during a season of change—when I made the decision to stay home with our (at the time) 4 children and take a leap of faith into building something of my own.
What started as a custom chalk paint line: with thoughtfully developed colors, finishing waxes, and signature scents quickly became more than a product. It became a philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and the belief that beauty can be found in the old.
Old wood. New life.
As our family grew, so did the business. We moved to a farm, restored our 1850s home, and renovated old buildings into functional warehouse space. Through woodworking, painting, and refinishing heirloom pieces, our passion for transformation naturally evolved into cabinetry.
Today, Carolina Southern Co. is a full-service kitchen and bathroom renovation company, designing and transforming spaces that are both functional and timeless. From layout improvements and material selection to cabinetry, finishes, and final details, our team manages each project with intention and care.
For clients who love their existing layout and cabinetry, we also offer cabinet refinishing as a refresh option—a thoughtful way to update a space without a full renovation. This allows homeowners to achieve a completely new look while preserving what already works.
All cabinet refinishing is professionally prepped and sprayed in our climate-controlled warehouse, ensuring a durable, furniture-quality finish. We offer full color customization, including color matching across any brand or shade, along with custom-built doors, panels, and curated hardware selections to complete the transformation.
Whether we are executing a full kitchen or bathroom renovation or refreshing existing cabinetry, our approach remains the same: elevated design, quality craftsmanship, and spaces created to be lived in and loved.
Design has always been at the heart of what we do. We understand that selecting finishes, layouts, and details can feel overwhelming, which is why we offer personalized design consultations—guiding our clients through every decision to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
Most recently, our journey has expanded into a custom closet line, born from the same commitment to thoughtful design, organization, and craftsmanship—bringing elevated storage solutions into everyday living.
